WILSTONE STICKS

My Walking and Working Sticks are handcrafted from a variety of different materials. The shanks are mostly cut locally from the hedgerows, straightened with steam and finished in a way that retains their natural character.
The Handles are fashioned from beautifully figured timber, Rams Horn, Buffalo Horn, Stag Antler and Cow Horn. They are finished in a variety of ways to compliment the material used.

Some Handles are embellished with spacers, collars, caps and decorative items to create a really individual item to be proud of.

When choosing a stick, it may be a Crook or Market Stick for working, or a Thumb Stick, Walking or Knob Stick for those walks in the country, it is important to have the correct length. I can shorten and re-ferrule any stick at no extra charge to make it comfortable to use, but I cannot 'add bits on'. Please contact me for advice.

If you are a customer from overseas. Please contact me first, by E Mail, to enable me to calculate the extra postage. This can easily be sent using Paypal's 'Send Money' facility. I will reserve the stick for you until the transaction is complete.
If you buy a stick it will give you good service for years and hopefully become an 'old friend'.

For me, that makes it all worthwhile.

Please note, my sticks are 'Country Sticks', which means they retain some natural characteristics and features which add to their Charm and Individuality. They are not like the 'manufactured' ones you would buy in a shop.

Creating a stick handle from a horn necessitates a considerable degree of skill, and a great deal of time and patience. Horns need to be heated, carved and shaped every step of the way, and they are notorious for 'doing their own thing'. Being a recycled natural product, they often have minor imperfections and irregularities that may still be evident in the finished product. In my opinion this just adds to their individuality and charm.

I will accept returned sticks if the buyer is not totally satisfied. I will issue a full refund if I am notified within seven days of delivery, and the stick is returned in it's condition on arrival.
